Heron Beachside Suites: Beachside Suites offer spectacular filtered views over Heron Reef and are set in a prime beachside location with direct access to the beach and reef. Double glass sliding doors fill the room with natural light and connect both the spacious bedroom and separate living area with a large outdoor balcony. The living area features a day bed, comfortable armchairs, coffee table and desk. The Suites offer a large bathroom, mini-bar and CD player.

Reef Room: Reef Rooms are positioned close to the beach and offer filtered reef and water views through a canopy of beachside trees and shrubs. Reef Room interiors are light and comfortable with a living area extending outdoors to a balcony or garden. Family room configurations are available.

Turtle Rooms: Turtle Rooms are located in a garden setting, a short walk away from the beach and close to the central resort facilities. With two rooms per block, all Turtle Rooms are at ground level and feature a deck and outdoor area. Rooms are compact and interiors are bright and fresh. Family room configurations are available.

Heron Island Resort lies on the Tropic of Capricorn, 72 kilometres off the Queensland coast NE of Gladstone. Regular flights to Gladstone are available from both Brisbane & Cairns.
